BROWLIFT BEFORE AND AFTER CARE
PREPARATION FOR BROWLIFT
Avoid using exfoliating products, retinoids or AHAs on your face one to two weeks before your browlift treatment.
Avoid plucking or waxing your eyebrows at least a week before your appointment.
CARE FOR BROWLIFT
Apply brow serum/keratin or castor oil daily.
Be careful with your eyebrows, avoid rubbing or touching them.
Avoid wetting your eyebrows for the first 24 hours.
Do not use strong products on the eyebrows.
Use of a sauna/steam is possible after 24 hours, but this may weaken the effect of the browlift.
Avoid using brow makeup for 24 hours.
Avoid swimming for at least 24 hours.
Avoid other beauty treatments on the face for 24 hours.
WHY CAN'T THE EYEBROWS BE WET AFTER THE LAMINATION?
As with the lash lift, it is very important to keep the eyebrows dry during the first 24 hours after your brow lift treatment. During the browlift - process, we use various creams and a permanent gel to smooth and shape your eyebrows. If you wet your brows too soon after we've applied these products, your brows won't have a chance to settle into their new shape.
HOW LONG DOES BROW LAMINATION LAST?
A browlift usually lasts about 4-6 weeks (depending on the aftercare). To prolong the results, follow the above aftercare for the first 24 hours after the treatment. After 24 hours, you can apply keratin or serum to your eyebrows every night to keep them soft, supple and healthy. In the morning, when your eyebrows are still damp after washing your face, brush them with a styling gel to fix the shape according to your desire. We also recommend brushing your brows in an upright/styled position after showering (or after wetting your brows) to maintain their new shape. We also usually recommend repeating the treatment after 8 weeks when your hairs have had time to grow out and be replaced by new hairs. This helps to minimize damage to the eyebrows and maintain their best condition.
